Testing for MS
Multiple sclerosis can be tested using a neurological exam to look for abnormal reflexes difficulty moving certain parts of the body.
Multiple sclerosis can also be tested using an eye exam. The examiner will look for changes with the inside of the eye, changes in movements of the eye or abnormal pupil responses.
An MRI scan of the brain or spinal tap may also be used to diagnose and monitor multiple sclerosis.
